To all wondering about building the k3 kit; I purchased and built my k3 kit in April 2008. With the help of a friend to look at the pics in the manual and find the correct parts, we built in about 22 hours total build time. Like you, I had the ten watt basic kit with an extra filter. Build and enjoy. I am totally blind and managed it, so you shouldn't have any trouble.
