I tend to agree with Richard Thorpe's impatience with the insiders' commentary on the P3. Arch-rival Flex Radio has been doing this sort of thing for months WRT pSDR, and the latest aspect regards their Flex 1500 which has been promised for a year or so and which has now been released to a number of insiders, who brag about it on the Flex reflector, even though the delivery date continues to slide.
The worst offender in this respect has been Apple, but at least they will have a more or less fixed date for their newest products. One cannot even get price/release information on the P3 from Elecraft (I've tried), even though pre-release pictures and insider commentaries abound.
