Locate a 2-D fastener. What is that, where would I find it?

Dear Sir,
Supposedly you inventoried all of the parts before you started. If not,
you will find a photo of a 2D fastener in the parts list towards the back of
the K2 manual. This is where it is especially helpful to have access to the
PDF version of the manual.
