You can turn the radio off by sending a PS0; cat command. You can turn the radio on by using a remote controller relay-like device to bring pin 8 of the 15-pin ACC connector to ground. See "Remote Power On/Off" on page 44 of the Owner's manual.
You can also turn the radio on at a specific time by setting an "alarm" time. See "Alarm and Auto Power-On" on page 36 of the owner's manual.
