Hello Martin,

XV144 integrates with K3 very well.  All you need are two coaxial and a 
interface cable.

However, XV144 is extremely hot even it is used at the rated output of 10W FM.  
For light duty cycle, it should be less hot.

Elecrafters,
i don't doubt the internal Transverter perfectly integrates in the
K3 concept, but how well do the external XV-xxx Transverters
integrate? The manual describes integration with a K2 , but not
with K3.
I have a KXV3A installed in my K3 and a 15Pin cable.
A XV-144 is on its way over the pond (if the icelandic volcano permits).
