I'd say the usual cautions apply. Load it if it has new features or fixes that you need or want to play with, otherwise it's probably not necessary.
I'm mostly interested in a particular bug but I might also try to play with some of the newer features at some point. I'm just a regular customer and not setup to be a proper field tester, tho, so my contribution will be pretty limited. But it is neat that you can still participate in the process.
