This morning I made my first contact with my new K2 (serial #6870)! I enjoyed a solid CW QSO with K4PHA near Atlanta on a noisy 40-meter band with thunderstorms in the area. I was running 4 watts into my old Cushcraft R7 trap vertical, and Ben gave me a nice 559.
