I was using WSPR and during a TX session I pressed the LOCK button in case I accidentally moved the tuning knob. The K3 went immediately to receive even though the software was still transmitting. (I believe that software TX/RX control is used, not RTS/DTR keying.) I can't think of a good reason why it should do that.
