Love hearing about everybody's ideas for ladder line. Currently I am using the 1/4" drip tubing cut in 6" lengths and reinforced with bamboo shish kabob skewers inserted. Gorilla glue seals the ends. This line is practically invisible against the trees and that keeps KG6MZR happy.
My K3 has really directed my interest in the hobby toward antennae. The first thing I did when I got the K3 was dump my store-bought G5RV and design and erect a couple of multiband doublets. I know I am satisfied with my radio because I no longer gaze longingly at rig ads in QST.
