Rafel, As noted in the manual on page 38, two values for C2 are supplied with the kit, but other values can also be used. Adjust the value of C2 to provide the range you desire and then adjust the turns spacing on L1 to place the OSC frequency at or slightly above 3090 if you wish to cover the low end of the amateur bands. Smaller values for C2 will provide a smaller tuning range. If you want 60 kHz, I would try 47 pF at C2 and see how close that comes.
