Good choice. NO noise blanker here and none needed so I can't help with that. The K2 has one of the quietest receivers I have used and I like it.
I have the 160 module and the ssb module and that's it. I mainly use mine for cw so the ssb is not a particularly needed item but from time to time I do get on the air with my 10-12 watt phone signal. The auto tuner might be nice depending on what type of antennas you use.
