I have a strange problem that I have only just noticed. I have memory channels 20 to 26 with the UK spot 60m frequencies entered, along with an asterisk so that I can switch between them in a channelised fashion. Probably starting with 3.96, but it may be much earlier as I have been not so active in the past few months, I have a problem where arriving at memory 23 by moving the VFO A knob counter-clockwise will always result in a dead receiver on memory 23- the noise goes right down almost to a level such as that which would be present with the antenna disconnected. If I try to transmit ssb there is no output but changing mode only to FM and then back brings the memory back to life. No other change of mode has the same effect.
This is 100% completely reproducible. If I move in a clockwise fashion through the memories then all is well. I have performed both a VCO calibration and transmitter gain. It's not a show stopper, but strange to say the least!
