I have used the alinco dm-330v (think that number is correct). Has a small fan at the rear, but in normal use you just cannot hear it over normal room noise. Like most switchers it destroys broadcast AM reception, but haven't heard anything while using the k3 for normal ham use. it is a 30 amp supply with meters, and adjustable with a detent at 13.8 v. Also has a switch to set for 13.8 v fixed operation. binding posts on the rear, with two sets of spring connectors on front and cigarette lighter connection. the entire top is a heat sink, but I've never gottten it over fairly warm.
