Hi Brian, I'm not sure if you are speaking of the Manual or Auto Notch. After reading your post I decided to check out the Manual Notch
I used the spectrum display portion of EasyPal (SSTV program). The observed 'Valley of the Notch' seems to be in the realm of 400 to 500 Hz in width on both CW and SSB for the Manual Notch. 73, Dick - KA5KKT ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ Am I imagining things? The notch in the CW mode now seems much narrower.
