I am now confused..my K2 serial no 1926 from 2001 has T7 having 20turns / 5 turns. I just checked the latest manual and the turns are the same. Are we sure it's T7 we are talking about ? 73, Vic GW4JUN >>>>> That is a very old mod (2003) and was one of the experimental things done at that time. Since then, the T7 winding ratio has been changed and the specs on the IF filter crystals have been modified. Currently I do not believe there is any benefit in applying that mod to a K2.
