On Tuesday, 5/25, I mailed my DSP board to Elecraft for upgrading. I live on the east coast and on Saturday, 5/29, the upgraded board was in my mail box. USPS priority mail was used for shipping both ways.
I finished several other mods and installed the DSP board today. The upgrade mod is well worth the price. The sound from the K3 speaker is now 10 times better than it was before and the lows I can now hear is remarkable. It rivals that from my Sennheiser HD280 headset. The receive EQ is set flat. It took the boys awhile but it looks like they got it right this time!
