I'm glad to know 4.03 loaded fine elsewhere :-) I doubt the current problem has anything to do with 4.03. Something appears to have died a sudden death during the upload process. No other firmware version will load the MCU and pass verification either, and every attempt gives the same error messages on the radio. Unless there's an unpublished set of "magic buttons", I'm starting to fear the K3 may have to start a trip back to Elecraft. In the meantime, I'm ordering another Keyspan adapter. And powering up the boatanchor station for a while, since the K3 is dead and gone :-)
