Delwyn, We have a fairly old Sony 42" plasma TV and my brand-new K3 is sitting on a folding card table, no more than two feet from that TV. I have an outdoor, semi-inverted Vee antenna with it's apex at about 25 feet, located less than 75 feet from the rig. I have absolutely zero QRN from that plasma TV. And, if there are other plasma sets in the neighborhood, they apparently are not causing QRN for me. Now, if you are really talking about "QRM", yes - I have to tell the XYL to turn down the volume on her programs when I'm trying to use the radio!!! :-)
