Let's see, now. While Yaesu was making FT-1000s, 9000s, and now 5000s; and ICOM was making 7800, 7600 and 7700; Kenwood was selling its unimpressive TS-2000. Now, we're supposed to believe that they've suddenly got religion and are challenging the K3? Yeah, right. And, even if they actually made a radio that has decent specs, does anyone really want to deal with Kenwood customer service? In my opinion, the best radios Kenwood ever made were the TS-830 and TS-850. Then, it stopped caring. And, so did I...about Kenwood products, anyway.
