Ralph--
I'd said:
I sent this comments letter to the author of an article on
voting systems:
You replied:
it would help a lot if you said what article you are referring to and where it can be found. It would help to know what provoked your detailed response.
I reply:
Yes, of course that should be posted too. I should have written that down at the time, but I only wanted to answer it. But I'll find the article. It was by a woman, whose first name probably began with "K". Kristin, maybe.
The article described IRV, Borda, and Approval, giving the arguments of those methods' proponents and opponents in a balanced way.
When I find the article, I'll post it here. The article was from a website that someone sent me a link to. I'll find it and post the article. Then, in a separate posting, I'll try to post the comments to the article, though there might be too much of that to post in one posting. Maybe, then, I'll divide it into several postings.
Also, someone asked me where I found the letter that I posted as "Letter from a member of the public". That letter was among the comments to an article that I reached via a link from the electorama homepage, if I remember correctly. I'll find that article too, and post it, and will tell the URL of the article and the comments, including that person's letter (A letter from me is there too).
