Hi Mike,

I'm getting weary of the sloppy quoting

I reply:

What sloppy quoting? Did you or did you not say:

Could you please show proof that WV (RP/Beatpath/River) passes
Consistency and CWP does not?

Or, by sloppy quoting, do you mean that I quoted something that was sloppy, like your request that I prove something that I didn't say?

You object to the fact that I didn't say whom I was quoting.

For one thing, what difference does it make what was the name of the person who said that? Whoever it was, I was replying to it.

I don't complain about foreign names, and I can't expect everyone's name to be an easy one. Yours isn't. That's ok. So I replied "You said...". Yes, I could have written your name down, or I could have kept the entire posting, including your name at the end of the message, if it was there, and then pasted the name before the word "...wrote:".

That latter relatively easy solution would have meant that you wouldn't be hopping-mad that I didn't say your name. I just didn't have any idea how much anger would result from not doing that.

Anyway, I will not offer an out-of-court settlement, and so when you sue me for not stating your name, and lose in the lower courts, I hope that you won't take it all the way to the federal Supreme Court. Because that would reduce the amount of time that I have available for participating in EM. :-)
