Insight magazine, Nov. 9, 1998, p. 18 has a story about possible major fraud
as a result of using electronic voting systems- especially Direct Record Entry
(DRE) systems that are totally electronic. DRE systems as of August, 1998
were in use in 8.8 percent of all U.S. precincts.

It seems that lunatic laws permit the computer programs NOT to be examined to
see if they have intentional fraud or unintentional errors in them. Truly
bizarre.
