If, in certain elections by IRO (aka MPV, Alternative Vote, Preferential Voting) 80% of the winners possessed a 1st choice majority, then they'd have won in a Plurality election, and it hasn't been demonstrated that MPV has improved on Plurality. This goes along with somethign that I said earlier, that the conditions that will make MPV ok will also make Pluralitly ok. We need something that works even when Plurality doesn't. Mike --
