Mr. Catchpole is apparently new to the EM list. It was noted months/years ago on the EM list that Condorcet can be used for all legislative and single/multiple executive and judicial elections. Each combination of N choices versus 1 (assuming all the others are losers) would be done (using computers in any large election). One or more of the choices may win (Condorcet winner(s)) or lose (Condorcet loser(s)) in all of his/her groupings. The problem is multiple ties. See my YES matrix posting of Aug. 13,1998.
