Oregon now has two US Senators who were elected with less than a majority
of votes.

There is a commentary in a local weekly here which advocates preference
voting for single seat races. Proportional representation is better, but
its good to see the publicity finally after pushing electoral reform for
so long.

Thanks to those of you who have tirelessly explained the pair-wise
methods.
