No, unfortunately, I couldn't make it. I'm only a state candidate, and I'm too poor to attend functions that aren't necessary. (May I ask who told you they thought I was there?) I've had great success convincing local LP folks that Approval is better than IRV, but I can't seem to convince them that it's an important issue. At the monthly business meeting they had the month before I joined, they voted to support IRV, but nothing's been done about it, and it's not considered enough of an issue to rethink that position.
