I have got several questions of User's manual paragraph 3-9-4: Standard
Cell Libraries
Question 1:
There is text
Before saving it to disk, you should probably use the Cell Properties...
command (of menu Cells, see Section 3-7-3) and set all of the cells to be "Part of a
cell-library".
at the end of this paragraph.
Actually, there isn't such property in check box.
Maybe it was replaced with "Standart cell in a cell library"?
Question 2:
I have a big LEF on all standard library (more than 200 cells) and there
are ANTENNADIFFAREA and ANTENNAMODEL keywords in MACRO/PIN section of
buffer cells.
Electric has given error message on this keywords. I've deleted this
keywords, then Electric imported LEF w/o errors. Why did Electric print
this error message?
New LEF library (named like LEF file) appeared in Electric. Next point,
I have loaded GDS2 file. New GDS2 library (named like GDS2 file)
appeared in Electric.
Next point, I try to make Cell->"Merge Libraries"->"Add Exports from
Library...". Chose new LEF library in change box.
Electric printed the following message
Created 0 new exports in current library 'cmos350_stdcells'
where cmos350_stdcells is my GDS2 library. What is wrong? What did I do
incorrect?
