Hello Steven, I wish to know your opinion about two points below binding to measurements.
1) Measurements special layer should be not HIGHLIGHT. To change color of ruler only should be able a new layer. HIGHLIGHT layer is intended for highlighted objects that were selected. Maybe new layer for ruler should be created in Electric? Then highlighting will not blend with ruler. 2) Now measurements is the same to Cadence's ruler. It is good. But what do you think Electric's ruler will be more similar Cadence's ruler? I meant showing numbers on ruler. There is an edge of shape in Electric Layout Editor. This is line with length 2.05. Let ruler numbers are 0.00, 1.00, 2.00 and 2.05. Now 2.00 and 2.05 numbers are merging and it seems bad.
