There are references to the skill layer and skill in Electric. As far as the source code seems to indicate it is a tab in the preferences dialog. Does anyone know what this is for?
Skill is a Cadence scripting language. Electric has the capability to write Skill decks that can be imported into Cadence. However, since the details of that language are Cadence-propreitary, the Skill output module is not distributed with Electric. Cadence users who can prove to us that they are Cadence-licensees can obtain this module.
