I am trying to use a cell library that has some layers that are important to the cell library, but unimportant to the general layout in electric. There are four important characteristics about these layers:
1) I need to be able to import them in GDSII format 2) I need to be able to assign some rules to them 3) I need them to survive extracting a cell 4) I need to be able to export them back out in GDSII format When I declare the layer, should I make the cell type UNKNOWN or ART?
