If you download the entire trunk svn --username USERNAME checkout https://svn.java.net/svn/electric~svn/trunk <https://svn.java.net/svn/electric%7Esvn/trunk/electric> and start "mvn clean install" from trunk/electric/ then maven will be able to get electric-parent from trunk/pom/electric-parent
