Yes, indeed I'm seen this with EPEL-6, yum groupinstall 'Electronic Lab'
Can you update your spec in such a way that Requires gwave becomes
%if 0%{?fedora}
Requires: gwave
%endif
Hence, gwave will requires gwave for fedora repos only, for now until
we can get gwave compiled for EL repos.
