Hi Marc,
I don't have a problem with banning of adverts, provided that it is i)
clear to all that this is the case, and it needs to be pointed out that
signatures are also included in this.
I was actyually a bit more miffed about the alteration of my email. If you
want to delete a message then please feel free, afterall you are the moderator,
and if you wish to edit a message then that is also your right, provided
that it is clear that the message was edited by the moderator. That way
you are covered in case of all sorts of legal problems.
One of the reasons I use a signature file is to disclose my interest. Too
many times I have seen people post in other groups with advice or comments
to later find out that they had some connection to the shop/unit/website
mentioned. If I post something about my products then I think it is being
honest to state my connection to the company..... However I will abide
by the rules as I wish to stay in this interesting and informative group.
