Apps are supposed to build and work properly on Debian, most likely they will require Debian Testing. I don't think we have any Ubuntu-specific stuff hardcoded into the apps.
The only incompatibility I'm aware of are Ayatana/KDE indicators in Wingpanel. By "Pantheon" you probably mean "Pantheon Shell"; it should work once you get some indicators for Wingpanel.
