I wholeheartedly agree with Christian. Given that elementary users may install other applications, and those on other distros may install elementary applications. It wouldn't work in either case to name everything "Pantheon xyz". Midori is called Midori Web Browser. The name makes it simultaneously distinctive and descriptive. Similarly, calling it Panther Terminal makes it both distinctive and descriptive.
