I'm not talking about a full partition manager here. I don't think there are any average users interested in everything that something like gparted or baobab would provide. I envision a switchboard plug with a selectable list of attached drives to the left, and the info of the selected drive on the right. What I don't want to do is create a redundant plug, or even make this a plug if it doesn't belong in the switchboard. This would be a tool that could be useful for the average user when they just need to see a quick overview of how big their disk is, and how much space they have left. I find myself wanting a graphical display of disk usage fairly often, especially on some of the frankenstein computers I have laying around with only 20-40GB hard drives. If the average user doesn't know how to run 'df -h', it might be nice to have a native informational tool like this. Please let me know if it would make sense.
