PackageKit 1.0 comes with a few API breaks, and it will most likely
appear in the Freya+1 (possibly Debian Jessie as well, however
AppCenter is probably less relevant there).
There is an email with requests for comments about the upload of the
new version to Debian Sid
[here](https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2014/09/msg00418.html).
Notable breaks are:
* Transaction hooks (scripts to run after and before Pk transactions)
* Support for plugins
* .desktop file database and package-list caches
* maybe the debug-info installer as well, although that's in discussion
If these affect libappstore and/or AppCenter, you should probably
reply, and possibly ask for recommendations on how to work with 1.0
Best wishes everyone,
