It makes sense: even in double click mode, you can't select several
files without the keyboard (with ctrl), so, the + and - are useful,
since you can select several files.

Bug description:
In double click mode, clicking anywhere on the icon makes a selection
so these buttons don't really make sense here. However they do make
sense in single click mode where clicking anywhere on the icon would
open the item.
