To reproduce I created a folder TEST and two folders test1 and test2 inside. 
Then I created 4 empty files named 1,2,3,4 by using 'touch' within the TEST 
folder.

I can confirm it like this:
On Item-View: 
* navigate to TEST
* Select file 1 to 4.
* Drag the files to folder1
=> you will see that only the file that was under the mouse cursor when 
beginning to drag will actually be moved to the target folder. 

On Column-View:
* navigate to TEST
* Select file 1-4.
* drag files to folder1
=> all files will be moved to that folder, even if the 'selected-coloredness' 
will look like only one file is selected.

List-View behaves as Column-View.

  can't drag more than one item at a time

  If I select a bunch of items, then try to drag them all to the trash
  one item will move to the trash.
