To reproduce I created a folder TEST and two folders test1 and test2 inside. Then I created 4 empty files named 1,2,3,4 by using 'touch' within the TEST folder.
I can confirm it like this: On Item-View: * navigate to TEST * Select file 1 to 4. * Drag the files to folder1 => you will see that only the file that was under the mouse cursor when beginning to drag will actually be moved to the target folder. On Column-View: * navigate to TEST * Select file 1-4. * drag files to folder1 => all files will be moved to that folder, even if the 'selected-coloredness' will look like only one file is selected. List-View behaves as Column-View. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of elementary desktop team, which is the registrant for Marlin. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/791632 Title: can't drag more than one item at a time Status in Marlin: Confirmed Bug description: If I select a bunch of items, then try to drag them all to the trash one item will move to the trash.
