Public bug reported:

Example: Wanting to fix subtitles for movie with different name than
subtitles. Copying the video name actually copies the whole file, no
matter that Ctrl+C was pressed when renaming the file and selecting its
name. When I click rename on the subs and then paste, it copies the
whole movie into the same directory, instead of just selected text.

** Affects: marlin
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Summary changed:

- Renaming is odd
+ Renaming copies the whole file instead of selected text
