Title:
ModeButton for Gtk3 should be redone (or removed)

Status in Granite Framework:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Hi mates, I had a quick look (really quick, so this bug might be inaccurate)
at the ModeButton, and I had the feeling you're like drawing a big button and
then hacking separators with cairo, and clipping regions.
If that's true, you should really redo the ModeButton, or maybe removed.

In fact, Gtk+3 tool buttons support nth-child CSS property, so you can easily
achieve the same look of a ModeButton just by tweaking a couple of values in
the CSS. Have a look at Totem or other apps in Ubuntu Oneiric, since Ambiance
support them (for example, Totem sidebar, the toolbar below it).
Cheers all and keep up the good work!
