Seeing as how there is (or should be) no majorly sensitive data transferred through our site, this is not a necessity. Also keep in mind an SSL certificate costs a lot of money, and we have no solid revenue stream at this point in time. If we begin selling merchandise directly through the site, we will invest in an SSL certificate (since there may be sensitive data passed through our site).
