Public bug reported:
Currently the Journal shows the five most-commented entries of all time
in the sidebar. While this worked well at first, the top entry there
continues to get more and more comments, while posts that don't fall
within the top five get forgotten.
Instead of simply using the number of comments to decide which entries
get shown, we should use that combined with a time frame, perhaps the
past month. This would keep fresh articles up there that are still
popular.
