For those of you who have missed out on what Flattr is -- it's this great service that allows you to specify a sum that you'd like to donate each month, and then every time you Flattr something, the amount is divided so that it's split equally by the end of the month. It's used by content creators to make a small extra profit. Check out http://flattr.com for more info. Integrating Flattr on a website is dead simple, and open source software is a typical service to use Flattr.
