Could you share some of this magic ? What exactly do you mean by "not able to install"? I've been able to get Windows + SBCL + the newest elephant-unstable to work with the bdb backend (single-threaded), although I haven't tried any of the other backends, or with multiple threads. What I am mainly trying to fix right now is automatic compilation of the dll files under SBCL.
