Hello,

maybe you can help me. I own an Apple-MacBook (Late 2007) on which I
installed Gentoo-Linux with Vanilla-Kernel-2.6 and ELILO-3.8 on the last
few weeks ;-)
My problem is, that I only got a grey screen when I try to boot it with
the builtin-chooser of the MacBook, or this error-message while booting
with rEFIt:

        ELILO Boot:
        system.c (line 208): Locate.Handle GopProtocol failed

Here are the most important config files:

        http://www.hottemptation.org/System/elilo.efi
        http://www.hottemptation.org/System/elilo.conf
        http://www.hottemptation.org/System/config (kernel-config)
        http://www.hottemptation.org/System/kernel-2.6 (bzImage)
        http://www.hottemptation.org/System/fstab (MacOS on partition 6)

I can't imagine where the mistake is, and if I am honest I can't even
explain the error-message. As far as I know apple is using efi-1.x with
UGA and not with GOP? I tried compiling EFI-Framebuffersupport (GOP) in
and leaving the append-line blank, no difference.
