Hi! I have such an idea. I saw it in other program. Instead of check everywhere if mem_alloc, mem_calloc or mem_realloc succeed. Check it only in those functions. When there is no more memory say sorry and exit. All other checks could be removed. ELinks will be smaller, therefore faster.
