Can elinks give me the IP address of the page/site I'm currently viewing, either in an info box or via some lua-available variable/function?
I realize this seems like a silly thing to want, but I frequently move sites between servers, and its nice to know which server I'm looking at. I realize I could use DNS or even the server logs to find out, but I often use /etc/hosts to override DNS (plus dig/host don't always resolve the same as the system libraries [even when I haven't tweaked /etc/hosts], which is puzzling), and am looking for a simple solution. -- We're just a Bunch Of Regular Guys, a collective group that's trying to understand and assimilate technology.
