Hi all.

The full icon animation is not very usable with audio files. few people have MP3 collection with covers. and the 0.1.6 Elisa skin is not efficient with big collection (all medias are shown in a single row). We have lot of feedback about that.

The new ergonomy doesn't start with icons, but when it's possible (pictures, movies), the navigation become with icon.
see :

But you're right, the full icon skin is more graphical, but the navigation is not efficient with big collection.
Pearhaps we will make a second skin in this spirit later.

and perhaps we can start the new skin with the 0.1.6 first row style, and just after, make a good animation transition to the "green text menu pages".

Hi all,

Yes i agree with you Arnaud, to have a full icon navigation.

But, between all your propositions, christophe, i like the #3, (we see more details thanks to the blue color, and the red/orange highlight is much more visible), but i like the tab divider from the #1 and the title position of the #1 too.

Last, i think they are all too darks...or it is my monitor...

We have 1 week to choose the theme of elisa media center.
We start with UMC on the green color.
You have 5 propositions here: Make your vote.

first, as Stuart said, my preference goes to the full icon navigation.
though this style is good too, à la Mac OS X FrontRow

next, the choice is hard since the 2 first are different from the 3
last. not easy for full comparison!

Anyway, I like the "tab" effect at the top of #1 ("Elisa Media
Center"). A crystallized green tab would look great.

as for the colors my preference goes to:
- #4 (green-green) and #3 (green-blue) and maybe #1 for the major color,
- #5 (yellow) or #3 for selection highlighting (maybe a light green
would do it too?!)
