Elisa meeting report - 27/08/2007
---------------------------------

* Ubuntu Feisty packages will be put online most probably tomorrow and in the
future packages should be available at release time (at least for Ubuntu).
=> philn is taking care of it

* Pigment/Cairo integration is needed for new widgets: some thinking and design
is needed to use it easily but in the meantime we can still use Cairo directly
and use set_from_buffer (some examples are available, ask loicm).

* Guillaume aka. guijemont is going to join the Pigment team in a few weeks;
  stay tuned.

* The plugin management system design
(https://core.fluendo.com/elisa/trac/wiki/PluginManagement)
is going well thanks to philn's work.

* The PVR roadmap is online
(https://core.fluendo.com/elisa/trac/wiki/RoadMap/Television).
Steps 1 (new player architecture) and 2 (TV and radio players) should be
completed this week according to lightyear.

* A new testing page is now available where all the Elisa integration tests will
be located (https://code.fluendo.com/elisa/trac/wiki/Testing). Feel free to
add tests, specially when you fixed a bug. Old tests will be transferred from
Trac tickets to that page soon.

* Discussion is needed about the new translation system that should allow per
  frontend localisation!
=> lightyear and Kaleo will take care of that

* Mouse support in Pigment has seen good progress and should be completed by
  tuesday night thanks to loicm.

* Windows support for Pigment should be completed by the end of next week again
  thanks to loicm's magic.

* Giving fullscreen access to plugins' UI and managing these concurrent UI is
currently in progress. Experiments for a new architecture are ongoing and
should be well advanced by wednesday.

* Ubuntu Media Center: next meeting is held this wednesday at 9pm. We need to
understand the amount of work that is needed for the remote configuration
plugin
and the media sources configuration plugin.
